Taster Weekend

The first two weekends of the year in October and November are taster sessions, bookable as one-off events for the reduced price of £100 for the whole weekend. 

Arrive on Friday evening to meet teachers and other participants; take part in simple introductory themes.

Saturday is a full day of movement work, exploring the space around us as well as how our bodies move within it.

Sunday we continue our movement work which finishes at 12.30pm with time to return home and prepare for the week. 

The weekends are purposely designed to provide a balance of serious movement work with more playful games and practices. All the activities reveal who we are and how we interact with the space and people around us.

Practical information

People come from all over the UK and from Europe to attend our weekends, and to facilitate this we offer the gymnasium as affordable (free) accommodation as well as a beautiful camping area. There are also many excellent B&Bs in the surrounding area.

Tea and coffee are offered in break times, but meals are not provided. We have two excellent biodynamic farms nearby with farm shops, and a village in walking distance with many cafes and restaurants.

All you need to bring for the sessions is comfortable clothing, including both indoor and outdoor footwear.
